El Clasico is one of the most known terms. Every football follower is well aware of the gravity of the term. El Clasico meaning “The Classic” is a Spanish term. It is used to describe the fixture of Barcelona vs Real Madrid.

The rivalry between this two is not new it has a history that started in the early 1900s. And over the years it has gained strength because of the famous percentage. The first match between Barcelona and Real Madrid happened on May 13, 1902. This very first official match ended on Barcelona’s side 3-1. Since then, the two teams face each other 240 times. But Real Madrid has the upper hand in terms of victories.
The term ‘El Clásico’ cannot be referred to as only just a match. It becomes a thrilling event whenever they face each other which is watched by millions of people around the world. The match is also known for its controversial moments sometimes.
