Vijay Hazare Trophy (Maharashtra vs Uttar Pradesh) :- Young Indian batsman Rituraj Gaikwad created history on Monday. Gaikwad, playing for Maharashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy hit seven sixes in an over in a match against Uttar Pradesh. After hitting the seven sixes he has become the first batsman in the world to do this feat in limited-overs cricket.
On the 49th over Of Maharashtra’s innings Gaikwad achieved this feat. Normally the over only has six ball to bowl but during Shiva Singh ‘s over one ball was a no-ball. In this way, this over was of seven balls and Gaikwad hit all seven balls for sixes.
