T20 World Cup 2022 Schedule and Fixture announced

A schedule and fixture have been announced for the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. It all begins on 16 October when Sri Lanka and Namibia will face each other in Round 1. In the marquee tournament India and Pakistan place in the same group. On October 23, India will face Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to begin their World Cup 2022 campaign.

Australia, the defending champion, is the hist country for this year’s event. New Zealand, the other finalist in T20 World Cup 2021, will be Australia’s first opponent.

The tournament will follow the exact format of the T20 World Cup 2021. The host country will host a total of 45 games across 7 different venues with 16 teams participating. The seven venues for the competitions are Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Geelong, Sydney and Hobart. So let’s look at the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Schedule and Fixture:
