10. Sri Lanka

The current squad of the Sri Lankan cricket team is the weakest one in Lankan history. Even they are struggling to qualify themselves in the super 12s. Despite their few quality star like Wanindu Hasaranga, Dinesh Chandimal, Akila Dhananjaya, Dasun Shanaka and Dhananjaya De Silva. Therefore, recently the Lions has announced their 15 men t20 world cup squad. However, in the last t20 series against Oman, they win the series 2-0. But before the Oman series, the Lions lose against South Africa.

9. Afghanistan

Afghanistan cricket board yesterday change their 15 men squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup and also change their team Captain. As their former skipper, Rashid Khan has stepped down from the team captaincy. So, Afghanistan appoints Mohammed Nabi as the new captain and will lead the team in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. The Afgan team is good on the short format of international cricket due to their best t20 cricketers like Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan. They have a good squad that can provide tough competition in the campaign.

8. South Africa

South African t20 world cup squad has filled with few big stars like Quinton De Kock, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi. So, they have a good team but not the best due to a lack in their batting depth. As the South African team doesn’t have that much batting in their squad except their top orders and a little bit in the middle. However, they have recently won the t20 series against Sri Lanka. So, they will go with good confidence.

7. Bangladesh

The Bangla Tigers will go with huge confidence in the upcoming tournament of the T20 World Cup after their back to back win against heavyweight teams New Zealand and Australia in their home series. The Tigers 15 men world cup squad is filled with youngsters and they will be backed by experience ones like Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar, Mahmudullah, Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Kumar Das. Therefore, the squad is well balanced but Bangladesh will miss the Tamim Iqbal experience in both batting and team as he is absent in the upcoming world cup series.

6. New Zealand

Kane Williamson and co have a well balanced 15 men squad and are also one of the favourites to win the title. The Blackcaps recently becomes the world test championship after beating India. New Zealand has world-class players like captain it’s self Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, Martin Guptill etc they can lead the team to the title. However, New Zealand has lost their last series against Pakistan. Although their players are looking in a good shape during the ongoing IPL matches.

5. Australia

One of the biggest names in the cricket world Australian cricket team is one of them. The kangaroos are always favourite in any ICC tournament to win the titles. So again there on the list of team rankings. But in few months the Australian form is a little bit shaky as they already lost their last four T20 series. Therefore, their star players like David Warner, Steve Smith are not in good as seen in the ongoing IPL matches. But the Australian team can change the game on its own. Overall Australian 15 men, T20 World Cup is well balanced team.

4. Pakistan

Pakistan has a very well balanced team this time led by world number one batsman Babar Azam. Babar Azam and co have grown up in a few months by playing competitive cricket. During their last t20 campaign against England and West Indies, they give a tough competition. Therefore, the team has several experienced players like Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez with talented young stars. They have great batsmen like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the top order and the bowler like Shaheen Afridi that can provide a great impact on UAE pitch.

3. West Indies

The defending champions of the T20 World Cup are again one of the favourites to defend their title in UAE. The powerhouse of T20 cricket won the world cup in 2019. The Caribbean has one of the most destructive batsmen in the world. So, in the upcoming campaign, West Indies has one of the best batting departments but they are a little weaker in bowling departments. Currently, the West Indies players are featuring the Indian Premier League 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. However, the Caribbean played their last T20 series two months back against Pakistan. But most of the matches miss with no result due to certain reasons. While West Indies is all set to defend their title.

2. England

Another favourite to win the title is team England. England is the no 1 T20 team in the world currently they are very well balanced and also the strongest one in the campaign. Despite their huge of star players in the squad the absence of their finisher and the all-rounder Ben Stokes will cause them. Even their best fast bowler Jofra Archer will also miss the tournament due to injury. So Eoin Morgan and co will miss their star performers but the depth of their team strength and experience will surely fill up this gap. Therefore the 15 men world cup squad are currently featuring in the ongoing IPL at UAE. While the players are struggling to find their form in the league. However, England won their last t20 series against Pakistan.

1. India

Here come the number one India they are the favourites among the others to win the titles. While the upcoming T20 World Cup is going to be held in UAE from November. Virat Kohli and co are favourites because they know the pitch condition very well. As the Indian Premier League is going on in the UAE currently and all India’s 15 men T20 is available in the league. Therefore, team India is more favourable to UAE conditions. The Blues recently announced their 15 men squad before going to UAE for 2nd part of IPL 2021. India has one of the strongest teams for the upcoming tournament.
