Suresh Raina to Represent team India in LLC Maters

Suresh Raina, the former Indian cricketer has a big responsibility on his shoulder now. He is going to represent the India team in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Masters. India Maharajas team is all set to show their strength in LLC. The tournament is scheduled to start on 10th March and will be continued for 10 days. There are three franchises in this Masters league- the India Maharajas (IM), the World Giants (WG), and the Asia Lions (AL). The decided venue to host the league is Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Raina’s Captaincy Experience

The former all-rounder has already faced the situation when he was that time’s current player of team India. He used to be a stand-in captain for the Indian men’s national cricket team in the absence of the main captain. He represented the Indian team in a total of 78 T20Is, 18 Tests, and 226 ODIs. The cricketer was the first Indian, who scored 100s in all three formats. He made a record for himself as he hit a century in his test debut.
Raina spoke about his association with the league and said, “I am looking forward to being part of LLC Masters. The format is such that we will be representing India again. It is always a pleasure to represent your country. We would focus on bringing the trophy home this time. I am looking forward to playing with all the legends.”

According to the sources, LLC has included 20 new senior players’ names this season. In this, Suresh Raina’s and former Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh’s names are added. Irfan Pathan, S Sreesanth, and Robin Uthappa are also there to accompany them on the team. The first match will start with India Maharajas. They will face the Asia Lions on March 10.

Klusener- Coach of Indian maharajas

The coaches of the three teams are- Lance Klusener, Lalchand Rajput, and Dav Whatmore. South African all-rounder Klusener will be the coach of the Indian Maharajas. He said he is looking forward to sharing and implementing innovative ideas with all the team members. Because he feels the team members still have the charm which led them to the icon tag.

Lalchand- coach of the World Giants

Indian Lalchand Rajput is the coach of the World Giants. names like Aaron Finch, Brett Lee, Chris Gayle, and Shane Watson are present in the WG team. The coach said that he is not only excited but so much eager to create a great moment with them. He is also looking forward to witnessing the nostalgic moments all the icons are going to make in LLC Masters.

Whatmore- Coach of the Asia Lions

Suresh Raina The former Australian batter Dav Whatmore has the responsibility of coaching the Asia Lions team. The coach finds the format very unique and interesting. And he is feeling pleasure in being part of it.
