But Rajasthan Royals bought him and bid for him in the auction. He is a valuable player. Also he played for KKR. He is a great bowler to keep in a team.

Replacement of Prasidh Krishna Sandeep, who has played for SRH and PBKS, has many experience in the IPL. Sharma has picked up 114 wickets in 104 IPL matches. He is known for his wonderful swing bowling with the new ball. he can also hit the wide yorker in the slog overs. However, he didn’t have a great time in the last two IPL seasons. He picked up only 5 wickets in 12 IPL matches in last two seasons. The 29-year-old Sandeep Sharma brings good deal of IPL experience which very few pacers do. Recently he was been bowling wonderfully for Chandigarh in domestic cricket. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he took 13 wickets in 7 matches. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Sharma took 10 wickets in 6 matches.
