Pakistan Super League’s 8th Edition Kicks Off on February 13
The much-awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to commence on February 13, 2023.
Six teams, consisting of both Pakistani and international cricket players, will compete for the championship title.
The tournament will feature some of the biggest names in the cricket world, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Matthew Wade, Alex Hales, Jason Roy, and David Miller, among others.
PSL Schedule Format:
Round Robin Followed by Playoffs
The PSL schedule format will include six teams playing each other twice in a round-robin format.
According to the PSL schedule format, The first round of matches will take place in Multan and Karachi, followed by the second round of matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
At the end of the league stage, the top four teams will enter the playoffs.
According to the PSL schedule 2023, The top two teams will play the Qualifier, while the third and fourth-placed teams will play the Eliminator.

Defending champions Shaheen-led Afridi will look to retain their title, while Islamabad United, the most successful team in the tournament, will aim to add a third championship title to their name.
Knockouts of PSL schedule 2023 –
The knockout stage of PSL schedule 2023 consists of three matches:
Qualifier: 1st vs. 2nd – March 15th in Lahore at 7:30 PM
Eliminator 1: 3rd vs. 4th – March 16th in Lahore at 7:30 PM
Eliminator 2: Loser of Qualifier vs. Winner of Eliminator 1 – March 17th in Lahore at 7:30 PM
The winners of Qualifier advance directly to the final, while the losers get a second chance in Eliminator 2 to compete against the winner of Eliminator 1 for a spot in the final. The PSL 2023 final will be played on March 19th in Lahore at 7:30 PM.
PSL 2023 Match Timings in India Time
In PSL 2023, the evening matches will commence at 7:30 PM IST, except on Fridays when there will be double-headers. On these days, the first game will start at 3:30 PM IST and the second at 8:30 PM IST. On other double-header days, the first matches will begin at 2:30 PM IST, and the second match will start at 7:30 PM IST.
