Injured Kane Williamson currently suffering from knee injury on the opening match of Gujrat Titans in IPL. He immediately came back from India to NZ. Then he was seen walking with the help of crutches and had a successful surgery. The Kiwi captain is having knee rehab still in a pillar and is probably to miss out from the ODI World Cup 2023.

It is still too early to decide whether he will be guiding his country players or not. It still depends on his injury. If his health permits then only. The ODI WC will take place in India at the months of October and November. If we look at Kane he is a great player of all the time. He used to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad. But in this season of IPL he played for Gujrat Titans but on the 1st match against CSK he got injured.

Now it’s time for him to support and guide his country. As he himself can not play it’s a good idea and suggestion from his country team management. Because for the ODI WC every country and players wait for to grab the cup. It’s a great idea to serve as mentor to the team, if Kane can not play himself.
