Know about Rajasthan Royals Owners

Rajasthan Royals Owners are expecting their team to be the IPL 2023 Winner. Rajasthan Royals (RR) was the one to win the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. Australian cricketer Shane Warne was captain then.
It represents the Indian state of Rajasthan and Jaipur is its capital. The franchise faced a two-year ban in the year of 2016 and 2017 because of involvement in allegations of the match-fixing scandal.

Manoj Badale, who graduated from the University of Cambridge is their current owner having the majority of stake within other investors. His company Emerging Media IPL Ltd. (EMIPL) has 65% of the share. Other Rajasthan Royals Owners are- Suresh Chellaram and Lachlan Murdoch. The RR franchise was the least expensive team then.
And Jake Lush McCrum is the CEO. The franchise was sold for a bid worth $67 million. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra bought 11.7% share of it in that year. But after the scandal (2015), Raj Kundra was banned for life.

RR in IPL 2023

Currently, the team is led by Sanju Samson and Kumar Sangakkara is their coach, who is the Director of Cricket Operations also. Their home ground is Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals has its first match of IPL 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 2nd April at 3:30 pm at the Ground of Hyderabad.
