One of the best football league’s in India the Indian Super League has announced the new ISL fixtures for the first round of eight seasons. In the new ISL fixtures, the season will begin on November 19th 2021. So, the new ISL 2021 season will be play between the two-time runner ups Kerala Blasters and the last match runner up ATK Mohun Bagan.
While the oldest derby of Indian football between the two Bengal tigers, Sc East Bengal and ATK Mohun Bagan will clash on the 27th of November. After completing their first season with moderate results SC East Bengal will start their second season against Jamshedpur Fc. So, the first round of the Indian Super League 2021 will be played from mid of November to mid-January.
Therefore, there will be 55 matches in eight editions of the Indian Super League and all the games will play in the bio bubbles at Goa. However, the All Indian Football Federation has decided to make the 3+1 rule in the Indian Super League from the new season.
Therefore, in the new ISL fixtures, FSDL has certain changes on players registration and Foreign players number after agreeing on the advice given by the Executive Committee for the 2021 to 22 ISL season. While these changes have been made according to AFC club regulation. Therefore, as the AFC Competition follows the 3+1 rule for foreign players to provide more opportunities to domestic players.
