After having years of roller coaster experience with the sport, the former Indian Cricketer S. Sreesanth is planning a comeback in the IPL. Despite all the hurdles, the world cup winning team member is now looking to be part of this year’s IPL mega auction. Having been released from suspension, Sreesanth began playing last year.
For the limited-overs tournaments, he was part of the Kerala team and made his comeback with Ranji Trophy 2021/22. Moreover, he participated in the auction last year but was not selected by any teams.
This year he registered for the IPL mega auction and set 50 lakhs as his base price according to ESPNcricinfo. Earlier in 2013, he was part of Rajasthan Royals. During his IPL career till now, he played 44 matches and took 40 wickets.

Sreesanth is amongst 1214 players who register their names for the T20 league. From these players, 49 has set their base price at Rs 2 crore which includes 17 Indians are Yuzvendra Chahal, Dinesh Karthik, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Chahar, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Devdutt Padikkal, Krunal Pandya, Harshal Patel, Shardul Thakur, Robin Uthappa and Umesh Yadav
