Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is all set for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. They have won IPL twice in its history, once in 2012 and another once in 2014. And they have ended 2022 IPL in 7th position. Shreyas Iyer is the skipper of the team and Chandrakant Pandit is their new head coach.
10 teams are there to contest each other for the trophy of IPL’s 16th edition, divided into two groups. KKR, MI, RR, DC, and LSG are in Group A and rest are in Group B. All teams have 7 home matches and 7 away matches. There will be a total of 70 league matches. there are total KKR matches. KKR has its first encounter with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mohali on 1st April. Their last league match is against Lucknow Super Giants on 20th May.
