FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifier: Who has qualified for Qatar from Europe and South America?


The FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifier is already in its final stage as 5 countries have qualified for Qatar. The defending World Cup champions France and Belgium has joined Germany, Denmark and Brazil on November 13 after their win. Germany the four-time World Champions becomes the first team to book their seat from Group J for Qatar on October 11.


Just a day after Germany qualification Denmark becomes the second team to book their seat from Group J on October 12 with Germany. So, after two countries qualify in October, the five-time World Cup champions Brazil qualify on November 11 and becomes the first team from South America to book their spot.

Therefore, on the 13th of November, two teams France from Group D and Belgium from Group E qualifies for the World Cup 2022. France qualifies after beating Kazakhstan with a huge goal difference of 8-0. During the match Mbappe scores 4 goals to help his team to reach Qatar. While Belgium reaches after beating Estonia with a 3-1 scoreline.


Hence, till now five countries have booked their ticket for World Cup 2022 Qatar 4 countries Germany, Denmark, France and Belgium has reached from UEFA European qualifier. While from CONMEBOL Brasil has booked their ticket.

European Qualifier for World Cup 2022 scenario

From 55 teams divided into 10 Groups in European Qualifiers, every Group winner will automatically secure their place for World Cup 2022 Qatar. Till now, four countries from different groups have already qualified Group D, Group E, Group F and Group J. So, there are several countries from 6 different groups that are fighting to book their spot as only 6 countries seats are available.


Group A

In Group A Portugal is leading the group with a goal difference as they draw the match against Ireland. While Serbia is in the second position with the same points as Portugal. So, Portugal requires just a draw match but Serbia needs a must-win match. Therefore, both the team Portugal and Serbia will play the deciding match on Sunday.


Group B

In Group B Spain return to their first spot after the win against Greece. While Sweden is at the second position with one point less the group leader. Spain requires only a draw match to become the group winner but Sweden requires a win to qualify. Therefore, both Spain and Greece will face each other for deciding the group winners.


Group C

The new Europe Kings Italy is currently on equal points with Switzerland. But with a little difference, they are more secure than Switzerland to qualify as both the teams has one match left each to play. As of the 15th of November, Italy will take on Northern Ireland. On their hand, Switzerland will take on Bulgaria.

Group D- France qualifies as Group winners

Group E- Belgium qualifies as a Group winners

Group F- Denmark qualifies as Group winners


Group G


The scenario of Group G is a must difficult compared to other groups. As three teams have an equal chance to qualify for Qatar. But the Netherlands is leading the group with two points and one game left.


Group H

In Group H Russia is topping the table with 2 points more than Croatia. Therefore, Russia has more chance than defending champion to get qualify


Group I


The defending Euro champions England is just one point behind to become the group I winners and to book their place in Qatar.


Group J- Germany qualifies as a group winners


South America Qualifier for World Cup 2022


10 countries are participating in the South American World Cup 2022 qualifiers from which 4 teams will be getting their ticket for Qatar. However, the five-time World Cup champions Brazil has already booked their seat on November 11 with other 4 other European teams.


So, their 3 seats left from the South American spot. Therefore, Argentina is the closest one for qualifying and to become the second South American country to qualify after Brazil. After their last impressive win over Uruguay, Argentina holding tight in the second position of points table followed by Ecuador and Chile.
