English cricket Rehan Ahmed made a record by becoming the youngest cricketer in England playing in the men’s Test format. His age is only 18 years and 205 days.

Jos Buttler, England captain praised the youngest player saying he has exciting talent in such a sense. He is excited and is awaiting to see the teenager’s development in front of them. He also shared that it was a lucky moment for Ahmed as he has the chance to mend himself as a perfect bowler in front of Adil Rashid’s guidance. Whom, the 18 years received his debut cap from famous England bowler Adil Rashid.

“He’s still a very young man – just a teenager. We’re excited about his development and where we think he can go and it’s great to have him in and around the England setup. Someone like Adil Rashid has been such a star performer for us for a long period of time, Rehan getting to spend time with him and discuss bowling and watching each other bowl will be a huge benefit to him and a big step in his development.” The skipper also wishes to see more improvement in batting along with his niche, bowling.

England let Bangladesh make 246 runs in total in their third one-day match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhary Stadium. As they took all the wickets of the tigers within 48.5 overs. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. World famous fast-bowler Jofra Archer took 3 wickets of them. Sam Curran and Adil Rashid have 2 each in their bag. Chris Woakes and the youngest player of the team Rehan Ahmed took 1-1 wickets respectively.

Bangla’s former skipper made the highest run for today, 75 runs. Wicketkeeper M. Rahim and Najmul Hossain Shanto made 70 and 53 runs respectively. In the first match, England beat the opposite by 3 wickets. And in the second match also they defeat by 132 runs.

In the second half Bangladesh back roared against England by taking all their wickets within 196 runs. Vince’s 38 is the highest runs for England in this match. No bowler left for Bangladesh who did not take any wicket. Hasan became hero of the match by taking 4 wickets. Also he became ‘Player of the Match Award’ because of his all-rounder performance.

The playing XI of England is- Jos Buttler (captain), Jason Roy, Phil Salt, Dawid Malan, James Vince, Sam Curran, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Rehan Ahmed, Adil Rashid, and Jofra Archer.

Bangladesh’s playing XI consists of- Tamim Iqbal (captain), Liton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim (), Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Ebadot Hossain, and Mustafizur Rahman.
