Bright Enobakhare the Nigerian striker is all set to make his return to the Indian Super League in the coming days. As the last season’s ISL runners up ATK Mohun Bagan FC are set to sign Bright Enobakhare, according to the latest ISL news. The transfer fee is not disclose but it is expected that deal will exceed around 3 crores. The Nigerian joined the Bengal-based ISL team last season in the January transfer window.
ISL franchise ATK Mohun Bagan is expect to release the Finnish International Joni Kauko. Joni the central
midfielder of Finland, who featured in the Euro 2020 joined ATKMB after his Euro 2020 campaign on the two-year deal in June 2021.
The Finnish International’s bad finishing leaves a lot to be desired, although he was serving as a vital link between attack and defence. However, Kauko has a total of 337 crosses, 228 passes, 34 tackles, 12 interceptions, 9 clearance and 8 blocks in his eight ISL appearances.

With ATK Mohun Bagan’s financial capabilities, it is certain that the 23-year-old Nigeria forward will be offer a substantial contract. According to the reports, the three ISL franchises are showing interest to sign the Nigerian sensation are SC East Bengal (his former club), Chennaiyin FC and ATK Mohun Bagan.
However, Chennaiyin FC brings their former player and Lithuania striker Nerijus Valskis from Jamshedpur FC on the 1st day of the January transfer window. On the other hand, Bright Enobakhare’s former club East Bengal have withdrawn their name from the race after failing to negotiate with the Enobakhare agent.
The 23-year-old Nigerian had begun his ISL career with SC East Bengal last season. With his pace and dribbling skills, Bright played a vital role in the squad. He aggregated 3 goals for Bengal based ISL team in his 12 appearances, including one on his debut against Odisha.
Bright, who is currently a free agent, joined Coventry City in July last year for a two-year deal. However, due to an injury, the Nigerian was forced to leave the club in November.
