4TH TEST: The Border Gavaskar Trophy has recently. Generated significant buzz in the cricketing community, and this final game will bring the series to a close. Australia had a fantastic comeback after dropping the first two games. And if they can win this game, they will have a strong chance to tie the series. India will be looking to extend its winning streak with a victory after winning all of the test series in 2012. With the series on the line, both teams will put everything they have into winning this game.
India 4TH TEST
Indian top order players have had a lot of trouble scoring runs. Their only shining moments have been Rohit’s century in the first game and Pujara’s valiant 58 in the most recent game. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have occasionally appeared in cameos. Their greatest batting asset has been the spin combination of Axar Patel, Ravi Jadeja, and Ravi Ashwin.
Both Ravi Jadeja (22) and Ravi Ashwin (18) have destroyed the opposition’s batting order. Last game’s first innings saw a 3-fer by Umesh Yadav, who displayed his talent. With only one wicket so far, Axar Patel has been subpar. Mohammed Siraj has also been unlucky, going without a wicket despite having a successful opening delivery.
Australia 4TH TEST
Australia’s batters have routinely played tough knocks despite their inability to post large scores. Peter Handscomb (128 runs), Marnus Labuschange (178 runs), and Usman Khawaja (153 runs) have all played well and contributed significant runs for their teams. Following his comeback, Travis Head performed superbly in the last two tests. With their all-around skills, Alex Carey and Chris Green will give their middle order depth.
For this match as well, their pace duo will be Chris Green and Mitchell Starc. The spin trio of Mathew Kuhnemann (8 wickets), Todd Murphy (11 wickets), and Nathan Lyon (19 wickets) have been persistent in their pursuit of the Indian hitters. They should be quite important in this game, too.
